Bay Area Super Prestige Series 2006 points system:

1) All races will count toward the final standings.

2) All races for a particular class will have the same weight except

for the series final, which has a different points schedule.

3) Ties will be broken by placing in the final race.

We chose how deep the points go for each class based on turnout in

the first two races - we want to have all (or nearly all) finishers

earn points, but without a large number of points for last place.

The structure is the same for all classes: one point between each place

(two in the series final), with additional points for the top 6 places.
